The Association of Austria Solar all major vendors are gathered by solar thermal systems. The association was founded in 1999. A total of 45 are member companiesorganized in the association, which cover 75 percent of Austria's solar market. In addition, nearly 200 installers and planners are registered solar partner companies of the association. Overall, the association represents the interests of over 220 companies in the solar industry, an industry with nearly 5,000 employees.

The professional organization Belsolar was founded in 1998 as a federation of industry suppliers systems on solar energy .The members of Belsolar are specialized in systems for active thermal solar or solar water heaters .
- CanSIA (Canada)
CanSIA is a national trade association that represents approximately 650 solar energy companies throughout Canada.
- Chinese Renewable Energy Industry Association (China)
The Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA) was established in 2000 with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC).
- China National Renewable Energy Centre (China)
China National Renewable Energy Centre (CNREC) is the national institution for assisting China’s energy authorities in renewable energy (RE) policy research, and industrial management and coordination.
- EBHEK (Cyprus)
The Cyprus Union of Solar Thermal Industrialists was founded in 1977 and is the sole organization in Cyprus regarding Solar Thermal Systems. Cyprus has always been a pioneer in solar thermal systems.
- BDH (Germany)
The Federal Industrial Association of Germany House, Energy and Environmental Technology eV represents the economic, technical and political interests of its members in relation to politics, administration, the organizations of the market partners and the public. The BDH belong to 105 industrial companies and two associated organizations.
- BSW (Germany)
With more than 800 member companies, Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V. is the interest group of the German solar energy industry.
- Solar Trade Association (Great Britian)
For over thirty years the Solar Trade Association has been the leading voice for solar in the UK. Established in 1978 as a not-for-profit trade association we represent a diverse membership across the solar power and solar heating industry.
- Greek Solar Industry Association EBHE (Greece)
The Greek Solar Industry Association (EBHE) was founded in 1979. Today EBHE has 23 permanent (solar thermal systems industries) and 24 cooperative members (including the Solar Thermal Systems laboratory of the National Research Centre “Dimokritos” and the Centre of Renewable Energy Sources).
- Hungarian Association of Solar (Hungary)
The Hungarian Association of Solar creators, companies and individuals alike, committed to having fun in their own country, the most extensive publicizing and promoting the utilization of solar energy.
- Assolterm (Italy)
Assolterm, the Italian Association of Solar Thermal, meets today about 80 operators (manufacturers and distributors of solar collectors and other plant components, designers, installers, research institutes, etc..), representing 70-80% the Italian market.

- Holland Solar (Netherlands)
Holland Solar is the trade association of Dutch experts in solar energy with approximately 130 members, including suppliers, manufacturers, installers, consultants and architects. We are affiliated with the foundation DE (Renewable Energy) Dome.
- Dutch Solar Industry Association
Enova SF is owned by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (MPE). It was established to take a leading role in promoting environmentally friendly restructuring of energy consumption and energy generation in Norway
- Solar Association of New Zealand
The Solar Association of New Zealand was established in 1996 (then called the Solar Industries Association - SIA), to promote and coordinate the development and the use of solar energy for heating water in New Zealand.
- GORD (Qatar)
Gulf Organisation for Research & Development - not for profit subsidiary of QATARI DIAR Real Estate Investment Company) - is a fully governmental Organisation located at the Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP); whose purpose is to promote healthy, energy & resource efficient, and environmentally responsible building practices in Qatar and the entire Gulf region.
