About 35 Task Participants convened at MINES ParisTech in Sophia Antipolis, France on 6-8 April 2016 to review progress in each of the 4 subtasks, and also to discuss the development of the Final Deliverable, an update to the Handbook on Development and Use of Solar Resource Data, to be published in early 2017.
On the third day of the meeting, a Task Development Workshop for a new Solar Resource Assessment and Forecasting Task, to be proposed for IEA PVPS, was held. The new Task, once approved, will continue to maintain minimal collaboration with IEA SHC as well as IEA SolarPACES. The new task is expected to begin in mid-2017.
